Jayanthi Eshwarputhi originally from Bangalore, is an empanelled artist of the I.C.C.R . Being privileged in having a close association with all the her Gurus like, Padma Bhushan Smt. Kumudini Lakhiya (Gurukul training/living with the master) & the legendry Guru. Padma Vibhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj, New delhi (Lucknow Gharana in Kathak) and Guru Natyavisharada Smt.Narmada in (Pandanallur style), Padmashri Leela Samson & Padmabhushan Guru Smt. Kalanidhi Narayanan in Bharatnatyam, Jayanthi has developed her own distinctive style both in her chosen dance forms. She is unique because of her proficiency both in performance & teaching. Her style combines beauty and aesthetics while maintainingstandards and strict discipline which have been greatly appreciated by connoisseurs !

Jayanthi has given several performances in India and has traveled to USA, UK, NORWAY, DENMARK, SOUTH KOREA and CHINA for performances/teaching and dance workshops. From 2008 August - June 2010 Jayanthi has been invited to teach Dance and yoga to ‘Damini House of Culture, Oslo – Norway.
