With the ever increasing violence in today’s society, Karate is undoubtedly the best method of self-defense! Karate instills in a person strength and confidence which makes him face any situation with courage. Not every person who knows karate may get a chance to use it. However, just as a person who knows swimming does not hesitate to go into deep waters, a person trained in karate does not back away when faced with opposition! Karate is a truly incredible art form, which is built upon the basic concept of merging the body and mind into a defensive weapon and using it to protect not only ones own self, but others as well.

WHO CAN learn?

Anybody above the age of 6 years can learn Karate. This includes Ladies too! (In fact they are the ones who need it more!). There is no upper age limit as long as the person is fit and healthy.

INSTITUTE OF KARATE AND ALLIED ARTS (IKAA) BANGALORE

The Institute of Karate and Allied Arts (IKAA) is a vast Martial Arts organization with thousands of young people learning the art of self defense under it. Instructor Profile:

Sensei Dayananthan: Software Engineer By profession, Karate by Passion!

Holds a 1st Dan Black Belt in Karate Budokan International and has been practicing the art from more than 15 years. He has participated and won several prizes in State level and National level Karate Competitions. Under Graduate in Bachelor of Engineering. Currently works as SW Engineer in a Multinational Company in Bangalore.
