TROPIC RESPONSES is a 5 year old firm with the parent office in Bangalore, India and a branch in Dubai that works mainly in the niche area of responsible residential architecture and has diversified into commercial spaces, hospitals, institutions, industries and micro design. With a team of in-house consultants and designers we strive to innovate and invent with every new project.

RESPONSE TO ENVIRONMENT:

Design comes with a responsibility to the environment. With 'climatic designs' and extensive propagation of CSEB, rammed earth walls, rain water harvesting, a holistic design is evolved. Ignored basics like appropriate solar orientation, material choices and micro design aspects like ventilation, window positions, light wells are revisited. The integral need of humans to be 'close to nature' is addressed by choosing natural materials in finishes. This way the building behaves as a 'living organism' which breathes, swells, interacts and changes with time.

RESPONSE TO DESIGN:

“You employ stone, wood, concrete and with these three materials you build houses and palaces. That is construction, ingenuity at work. But suddenly you touch my heart, you do me good, I am happy and I say, It is beautiful”. That is “ARCHITECTURE”…………....………..…………........Le Corbusier 
Every wall, corner, edge, opening will communicate. It will prompt you to smile, explore and drift away. The form, function and economics will be justified and the space shall invoke peace. This state is what we strive to achieve in each of our work.
